奈良への車中からみかけた伏見稲荷。外国人観光客の人気ナンバー1と聞いていたので、下調べもしないまま、駅におりたってみました。
赤い鳥居が続く参道だけ歩き撮りしようと、軽い気持ちで歩き始めたのですが、鳥居は延々と続き、山中の奥まで登っていきます。
あまりのキツさと時間も無かったので、途中の四差路でリタイア。
全行程の三分の一くらいだったのでしょうか。
後で調べたら、外国人は歩くのが好きなので、軽いトレッキング気分も味わえる、伏見稲荷の参道が好評だとのこと。
次回は時間と気力をかけて、一周したいな。
