大本山總持寺、み霊祭り盆踊り大会は昔は地域の盆踊大会でしたが、最近は遠方からも多くの方が訪れ、コンサート会場の様に 大いに盛り上がります。
すっかり鶴見の名物となっています。僧侶との一体感が生まれ子どもも大人も楽しめます。是非一度お越し下さい。
Sōji-ji (總持寺) is one of two daihonzan (大本山, "head temples") of the Sōtō school of Zen Buddhism. The other is Eihei-ji temple in Fukui Prefecture. Fodor's calls it "one of the largest and busiest Buddhist institutions in Japan". The temple has about twelve buildings in Tsurumi, part of the port city of Yokohama, one designed by the architect Itō Chūta. 1-1, Tsurumi 2-chome, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan Denomination Sōtō Zen Buddhism Bon odori is the dance for holding a memorial service for the dead during the Bon period.
